April Minutes

Meeting called to order at 7 PM by President Bill Fowle.

Minutes to March meeting Read and accepted.

Treasurers report for March Read and accepted.

Range report: Rangemaster Paul reported he is still getting the usual number of Trap shooters. He is having trouble with the voice release system and has researched a new wireless system that costs around $1500. Motion made and seconded to let Paul buy new system but not to exceed $1800. (Motion Carried)

Paul also reported that Matt Blanc is working on an estimate to cover and partially enclose the Pistol range. Some discussion followed as to what they had in mind. President Bill warned that a full enclosure requires ventilation.

Paul asked to post April 25th as Range Cleanup Day. Starting at 9 AM and going to around 1 PM.

Trails Report: Trail Admin Mike reported that the last of the grooming paperwork has been turned in to the state. He is now working on the summer work grant that needs to be in by May 10th.

Mike wants to talk to NH DOT about changing the trail approach on the North side of Lovers Lane.

Old Business: Logging, Ed was not in attendance to report anything new. President Bill said the new gate project will wait until logging is completed. Rangemaster Paul will have the overhead power lines underground by the May meeting.

New Business: Matt Blanc outlined work that is happening on the CEDA Grist Mill property. The snowmobile trail will have to be relocated, and they are willing to work with us on a solution.

President bill Fowle asked for volunteers for a nominating committee, with no one speaking up, he appointed Matt Blanc, Craig Richardson, and Dave Bragg to come up with a slate of officers to be presented at the May meeting.
