- Taurus Performance Trigger System (PTS) — crisp, comfortable trigger feel for faster, more accurate shots.
- Threaded 4.60″ barrel — ready for suppressors or muzzle devices.
- MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail + improved iron sights — easy optics/laser mounting and better sight picture out of the box.
- Slide lightening cuts — lower perceived recoil and quicker follow-ups.
- Compact overall length (7.06″) with a 10-round shipped magazine — good balance of capacity and carryability (state restrictions may apply).
Why Shooters Love It
The TX22 Gen 2 gives rimfire fans a seriously fun, accurate platform that’s also practical. The PTS trigger and slide lightening make it shoot smaller groups and feel faster on target, while the threaded barrel and accessory rail let you customize it for range time or quiet backyard plinking. It’s a great mix of performance and value for shooters who want a reliable .22 that’s not a compromise.
